Back Curve and Hunching verses Stretching Posture

I need a wooden Armedilo, I thought to myself as I thought about trying to stretch my back into a good shape.
The best so far is to lie on a wall with my head hanging down over the end and it takes about a half hour.
I have to do it in stages as it feels to sudden to do it all in one go.
Mind how you go if you try it.
Maybe I will find a good back stretch bench like a trouser press or something.
So many times I have heard how stress causes tightening of the muscles and damage around and of the discs of the spine.
And I have heard of people needing to wear Corsets to allow some repair there.
I have seen on the net these back stretch tables and they seem too extreme.
I imagine just lying on a table with wooden bricks to set my back as the right shape.
Even the shape in the lateral ways as well as the longitudal ways.
Maybe with an electric plate warmer under them to warm my back.
I think on the wall, my head hanging down created an up ward pressure in good place under my back, but I am only guessing from the stretch helpful feeling that happened.
